Aurora Aksnes was born June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from musicians and music blogs as well as the media. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the hit song Runaway through her music, gave it some more recognition. Happy birthday to her. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of locating an instrument in her attic and becoming fascinated by the sound it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to take up music as an interest or profession. She began to write her own compositions. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. Her mother urged her to play her music in front of the public, but not so that she could be famous, but to make others aware of how significant that they are, and the impact they can do for the world. The piano was her first instrument at age six and creating music when she was nine. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't just a fantasy of childhood. The singer claims that she is a fan of creating songs. According to her, music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
